Mond Valley Golf Course is a wonderful tree- lined parkland course with stunning views of the Black Mountains and is situated in the lower Swansea Valley.
Previously known as both INCO and Tawe Vale, it is now a private members club called Mond Valley. Both the course and facilities are first class. The testing 18 Hole parkland layout is tight, so big hitters are rewarded, combined with small greens this presents a tough, but fair test of golf.
The three holes 12th ,13th, and 14th bordered by the River Tawe and Swansea Valley canal are pretty and testing for any level of golfer.
The course welcomes visitors and golf societies throughout the year and a number of green fee offers and competitive visitors’ packages are available please contact the club or visit their website for more details
The club is easily accessible from the M4 (J45 signposted to Pontardawe) and should be included on your itinerary when in Swansea. It is a classic unknown beauty and certainly deserves more attention. The course is a flat, easy walking parkland course bordered on one side by the meandering River Tawe and the historic Swansea Valley.
