Llanwern is yet another superb asset to the ever popular town of Newport. Visitors are welcome through the year and often find solace in the trappings of the clubhouse - complete with snooker table - if they have found the course too much of a test of their ability.
The first grants you the opportunity of getting off to a flying start, especially if you are a big hitter - it is a short and very driveable par four.The back nine is probably the better of the two halves though that doesn't make it any easier! But the best is saved till last with the short 18th, the signature hole.
