As you'd expect, the golf club bearing the name of the country's capital is somewhere well worth the visit.
This parkland course, which was founded in 1921, is situated three miles to the north of Cardiff city centre and has trees as its main feature.
The layout is made up of an interesting variety of holes, many of which have a stream running through them. The course measures just over 6,000 yards and has a par of 70. There's a practice area and putting green and the local professional, Terry Hanson, is on hand if you want a lesson before or after your round.
