Founded in 1910 and originally under the guidance of the local council, Penmaenmawr is now a proud private club with around 700 members who have grown particularly fond of their course through the years and rightly so.The course nestles between mountains and the sea and thus offers some spectacular views.
You can also see Conwy Bay and Puffin Island in the distance from select holes.
It is a nine-hole course with no par fives, but don't let that fool you. This is certainly no walkover and a score that's anywhere near the region of par is a score to be proud of. How to Get there
From Conwy, At first A55 roundabout after tunnel, turn left and immediately left again. Pass The Gladstone Public House and take the next turn right into Cae Cyd Road. Carry on straight up the hill until you arrive at a T junction. Turn left.
