Situated in beautiful Welsh countryside and overlooked by Chirk Castle and the Welsh Borders above, Chirk is one of the best golf centres in northern Wales.The championship course can be played from the regular tees at just under 6, 000 yards in length, but if you fancy something a little tougher then play it from the championship tees where it stretches to very testing 7, 281 yards. The par five ninth at 664-yards is one of the longest holes in Europe, so if you get a birdie make sure you let the locals know as you'll likely be one of the very few to do so.
